Group Founded by Female Members of Congress Chooses Stephanie Kunze in Race for Ohio’s 15th District
COLUMBUS – Value In Electing Women Political Action Committee (VIEWPAC), a national organization founded to help elect qualified women to Congress, today announced its endorsement of Stephanie Kunze for Ohio’s 15th District.
“Now, more than ever, we need serious, credible, and thoughtful women serving in Congress,” said Julie Conway, Executive Director of VIEWPAC. “Ohio hasn’t had one Republican woman in its congressional delegation in nearly a decade. Stephanie Kunze is not only the right person to represent the 15th district, but she’ll be a principled conservative and a powerful advocate for the needs of all constituents. We are proud to endorse her candidacy and support her campaign.”
“I believe women can and must have a voice in shaping public policy, and I’m grateful that the leadership of VIEWPAC shares those values and is supporting me in this race,” said Stephanie Kunze. “Building up our families and communities requires lower taxes and economic growth for sure, but we must do more. I’ve been a fighter for women and children during my time in the legislature. I’ll do the same in DC.”
Stephanie Kunze is serving her second term as a state senator from Central Ohio and is a respected and influential leader at the Statehouse. Known for her passionate advocacy for small business, education, and health issues important to Ohioans, Kunze has successfully championed legislation aimed at reducing the opiate epidemic that is plaguing Ohio’s communities and delivering justice for victims of sexual violence; advocated for efforts to improve Ohio’s business climate; and fought to ensure that Ohio’s students receive the highest quality education possible.
