COLUMBUS – After two-and-a-half years of fighting, Governor Mike DeWine signed Collin’s Law: Ohio’s Anti-Hazing Act. I’ve been passionately supporting this legislation from its inception, and I’m proud of what it will accomplish for Ohio’s children.Collin Wiant tragically passed away from a fraternity hazing accident. Now, thanks to the efforts of his family, hazing is a felony in Ohio.At the signing, Governor DeWine said, “We simply in Ohio cannot tolerate hazing, and we’re saying with this bill that we will not tolerate hazing.” I think this is an important step for the safety and security of future generations. Ohio parents deserve to know their children are in safe hands when they send them off to college, and thanks to Collin’s law, we can provide real peace of mind.Kathleen Wiant made a promise to her son, and now she is making a promise to every Ohio child as she honors him.Kathleen embraced Governor DeWine after he signed the bill. Thanks to their dedication and hard work, our children can have a safer, more successful college experience.

Brad Koffel Interviews Stephanie Kunze on his For the DefensePodcast
In his introduction, Brad called the race for the 15th congressional district “big” for those who “don’t like what’s going on in the country right now” and I couldn’t agree more. In fact, that’s exactly why I’m running. We discussed the important Anti-hazing Bill I recently introduced and how it will impact the lives of future Ohio students. There have been too many incidents here in my district of students losing their lives to fraternity hazing and this bill will do wonders to keep our
children safe.
Stephanie Kunze Endorsed by Franklin County Republican Party
COLUMBUS – Stephanie Kunze today released the following statement on her endorsement by the Franklin County Republican Party:
“There’s no group of people who know me better than my friends and neighbors in Franklin County, and I’m grateful for their trust and endorsement. They know I’m a strong conservative who is willing to stand up for what’s right, but that I also have compassion for those who are suffering from addiction or abuse. They know the kind of leader that I will be in DC. It’s what our Party, the 15th District, and our country needs right now.”
“Sadly, we have become even more divided since the last election. Instead of working to bring us together, President Biden and Nancy Pelosi are making things worse by advancing an extreme progressive agenda that threatens to erode our freedoms. Now is not the time to waver from our core Republican values, but we aren’t going to solve the serious problems facing our friends, neighbors, and families here at home by simply retreating to our corners and fighting in front of the cameras or on social media. I’m going to Washington to work, to be a voice of reason, and to lead. That’s how I’ve always done things, and it’s what the people of the 15th district deserve and expect.”

I’ve been a fighter for women and children during my time in the legislature. I’ll do the same in DC.” Stephanie Kunze is serving her second term as a state senator from Central Ohio and is a respected and influential leader at the Statehouse.
